I am going to compete in gi and no-gi in my next tournament, March 12th The revolution in Washington, and I was wondering what you would do. I have never taken a formal class in gi and have only rolled in one maybe 5 times. I compete in the advanced division in no-gi, so I am just curious what others have done.

No kids division, but I have rolled in the gi three times in the past two weeks. I have only rolled with one guy from our gym, who has a blue from another instructor, in these two weeks and he hasn't tapped me yet.superherojiujitsuacademy.com

Also go to the more skilled divison, Herzog has made me compete in blue belt or higher in every tournament since I started. It will only make you better.
