Does Anyone know the actual reason why, at UFC 118, Randy was introduced as a "Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and former UFC Heavyweight Champion" before his fight with James Toney but there was no mention of BJ Penn being a former Welterweight Champion in addition to being the former Lightweight Champ? Was it because of his dispute with the UFC? Randy had disputes with the UFC as well.. It just seemed kind of disrespectful not to acknowledge BJ's past accomplishments in the Octagon..

I think that it was a credentials thing as well. though anyone watching who follows mma should be familiar with randy couture's accomplishments. the boxing fans who tuned in to watch that fight may have not been as familiar with him.
