It'll be hard to find fact or physical evidence on here Angel as most of us are not agricultural engineers or food tasters. Let's take it down to a molecular level and we'll use the example of synthetically produced vitamin C vs naturally occurring vitamin C. On a molecular level, they're the EXACT same molecule and the body processes, and uses them the exact same. The only difference is with synthetic vitamin C, it's standardized as far as concentration and can usually hold a lot longer vs natural sources, *ie oranges, lemons, limes.* Just because something is synthetic, does not mean it's not AS GOOD if not better than naturally occurring sources. I'm not arguing for, or against organic by the way, just giving counterpoints based on logic and reason vs personal opinion, bias, etc. Let the scientific method help your judgement. What's funny to me is, even with all our advancements in science and technology, a large part of the population still thinks personal testimonial = scientific fact. The beauty with the scientific method vs other systems of belief is that science is always trying to prove itself WRONG in order to advance. Its crowning jewel of it all is the double blind, placebo controlled study.
What does this mean as far as organic vs non-organic? All it means that if we really wanted the truth, we could test it to see if there is any real, cost effective benefit for going with one or the other by measuring different elements like varying efficacy, taste, vitamin concentration, etc.

Some organic apples might be more tart or sweet compared to the next apple let alone the next tree, because that's how real fruit is supposed to work.

The real interesting crops though are the heirloom crops that people are growing. I'm not Captain Planet or anything but there are a lot of great options popping up in the market place. Sure, I can probably survive eating a pesticide sprayed apple but I don't have to take that chance if the option is right in front of me. So for that option I thank the more concerned shoppers out there who's initiative allowed for these organic products to appear more readily on the market.
Well, the thing is, the only people tasting were folks who shop at organic food markets, and were claiming to only eat organic food.......

Here is part of an article about an alleged Cancer cure that has been apparently suppressed. I'ii paste the relevant part about Organic food below.

Cancer cells have a unique 'biomarker' that normal cells do not, an enzyme called CYP1B1 (pronounced sip-one-bee-one). Enzymes are proteins that 'catalyse' (increase the rate of) chemical reactions.

The CYP1B1 alters the chemical structure of something called salvestrols that are found naturally in many fruit and vegetables. This chemical change turns the salvestrols into an agent that kills cancer cells, but does no harm to healthy cells

The synchronicity is perfect. The CYP1B1 enzyme appears only in cancer cells and it reacts with salvestrols in fruit and vegetables to create a chemical substance that kills only cancer cells.

But here's the point with regard to cancer being a fungus. Salvestrols are the natural defence system in fruit and vegetables against fungal attacks and that's why you only find them in those species subject to fungus damage, like strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes, blackcurrants, redcurrants, blackberries, cranberries, apples, pears, green vegetables (especially broccoli and the cabbage family), artichokes, red and yellow peppers, avocados, watercress, asparagus and aubergines.

What's more, the Big Pharma/Big Biotech cartels know all this and they have done two major things to undermine this natural defence from the fungal attack that is cancer.

1.The chemical fungicide sprays used in modern farming kill fungus artificially and this means the plants and crops do not have to trigger their own defence - salvestrols. You only find them in any amount today in organically grown food.
2.The most widely-used fungicides are very powerful blockers of CYP1B1 and so if you eat enough chemically-produced food it wouldn't matter how many salvestrols you consumed they would not be activated into the cancer-destroying agent they are designed to be.

So to break it down Fruit that has been treated with Pesticides lose their natural anti-cancer properties. However Organic Fruit without pesticides would still have them. If anyone wants to read the full article click on the link below.

I only shop at Hole Foods. The people who shop there are happy and more attractive (not to mention how well they treat their employees). The food is better, even when it's not organic. Not to mention it's usually cheaper than Safeway. Major grocery stores feel like hospitals full of zombies to me.

In our society, anything "sold" on the market usually comes equipped with a gimmick. Organic Food might not always be as sincere as hole food shoppers would like, but it's a start-sometimes a waste, fraud, trend, etc... There are other-alternative ways to create sustainable healthy food besides organic...

The documentary Food .Inc is a great insight into how our "food supply" works. I highly recommend it!

Yeah I grow my own food Organicly and I use no Pesticide, Herbicide, or Fungicide at all. Planting Sunflowers in your garden helps a TON. They attract birds which eat the bugs off your plants.
