    Pre fight or pre tournament meal

    I am competing in a tournament on Saturday and my weight is not an issue. My Division starts at 3pm. I am looking for suggestions for what to eat for dinner friday night, and Saturday morning in order to maximze my potential. Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

    ...just eat normal? pasta, complex carbs night before. be done with brunch by noon. don't slam any energy drink or "protein & creatine" stuff..you'll get sick. drink plenty of water.

    if you are hungry during the event eat some simple granola bars and drink water.

    Love me some trail mix, pedialyte and water at tournaments. Water and Pasta with lean protein after weigh ins but everyone is different.

    last minute diet change wont make a difference
    just saying

    but carbs!!!!!
    i usually have toast and a bowl of rice
