    Throbbing in the knee

For some reason, last night in training my left leg felt like it had less than a child's strength when curling. I heard a click when I was lifting a bath into a skip 3 days ago (don't ask) and thought it was nothing.

I can still do full lotus as before and it doesn't hurt, but there's more of a "throb" to my knee.

It's the left side of my knee where I have had a major injury before and it was swollen last night.

    Anybody?

Well it depends on the serious prior injury you referenced, but I would get it checked out by a professional. It kind of sounds like a sprain, but knees suck balls, and it could be worse.

I don't know exactly what my serious injury was, but it was from a meathead rolling in my Carni...I've been told by two different doctors that it was an LCL damage, and another that it was a torn meniscus. I lost all the flexibility and couldn't train for 3 weeks properly, so it was a bad one!

It wouldn't surprise me whatsoever if you've re-injured LCL or MCL. Either a sprain or partial tear imo, because 1. you feel pain, so it's still intact and 2. you still have mobility, albeit limited.

Yet the injury I had a while back basically made me unable to do any form of lotus, but I can still do it easy now. It was in open guard that I struggled with it

Make sure that you a iceing your knees after you work out to keep the swelling down. It could be that you have some inflamtion in there and is putting pressure somewhere. I have to ice mine three times a day just to make sure they feel good before rolling.
