And yet you still train. We really do love our sport regardless of the pain don't we?
I got a hairline fracture in my rib 5 days into my MMA/JJ training and was 100% out of commission for almost 4 weeks. I couldn't get out of bed normally because getting out of bed requires a "situp" type movement and it hurt wayyy too much. But that's how much you and I love our sport. I've had multiple medical opinions saying that I shouldn't be doing MMA at all. I'd rather off myself than play badminton or w/e else other than MMA/JJ. I'm not going to extend my recovery time longer than what it already is though so I just gotta train top game only stuff and no rolling =(. I literally dream and daydream about sweeps/passes/submissions. I'm glad your ankle/calf is better. What may have happened if your lower back is hurting is that your spine may be misaligned from the uneven weight distribution you've been walking/training on. Also your muscles on the weaker side may have atrophied causing further imbalance in your weight distribution. Are you doing any core strengthening exercises and/or plyometrics?

Eddie Bravo and Joe Rogan are the first people I've heard to speak the truth about marijuana. I always thought it was bad for you, even when I was smoking it. Now I know the truth, so I can vape conscious free. So thank you for that, oh and thanks for shaping 80% of my jiu jitsu game.

Man when I first bought Mastering the Rubber Guard I had no idea what I was in for besides some new JJ before I opened the book I was completely straight edge you know hating on everything associated with drugs or weed or anything like hating Pink Floyd callng them "druggie music" (completely regret it). I had believed all the hype and media about weed but when I finished reading the first pages my life had changed completely that night opening to new ideas and beliefs and truth I am truly an open minded person in every aspect of my life and learning an awesome ground game which I strive to master and get a black belt I've been a handful of martial arts and only has 10th planet really inspired to work towards a black belt one day.

Eddie Bravo taught me how to love a woman, and how to scold a child.

Eddie taught me that there is no spoon. It is only your mind that bends.
