Eddie taught me that flexible grapplers have more options on the mat, and got me serious about stretching by challenging my work ethic. No one challenges my work ethic and gets away with it...except for that one guy who challenged my work ethic and ran off, he got away with it...After this only half of the people who have ever challenged my work ethic will have gotten away with it.

I've said this in another similar thread, but there was a point in my life where I lost a little girl that I considered to be my own flesh and blood. I felt like I had nothing to live for. I felt like I had no purpose, and didn't know what to do. I remembered hearing Eddie doing commentary on UFC, and Joe talking about him. I came across the MTRG dvds, and fell in love. I loved it even more because I have natural flexabilty in my hips and knees. I've always been able to put my feet behind my head without stretching. Eddie and his system inspired me to train. I met some guys in a town of 6,000 people, and we trained in the basement of a church, and a carport. it didnt matter if it was 100 degrees outside of 12 degrees, we trained about 2 to 5 hours, 5 days a week for about a year and a half. I've helped train a couple guys just with what little I've learned from the DVDs. We've never had any formal training, just DVDs and 2 seminars, Eddie and Royce. One of my buddies won 2 of his 3 matches in NAGA and Im 3-3 in NAGA with a first place medal. I met Eddie, and didn't flip out. He's just a normal guy, but that normal guy, I hold dear to my heart for he is my hero. (no homo lol)

Eddie's book was the first one I got on a ground game for martial arts. I'm going to the best I can to learn it (from a distance and with few supporters here). Here's to a different from of Jitsui!!!!
