Anyone else think Nicki Minaj is the shit?

She released her first hiphop album 2 weeks ago and the whole album is EPIC! By far the best female hiphop artist I've heard recently, maybe ever! The song Roman's Revenge with Eminem is amazing, and her song I'm The Best is equally as awesome!

She's been used on some big tracks with big rappers in the past few years but I had no idea who she was until yesterday and I'm already obsessed. If you're a hiphop fan, and you havn't checked out her new album yet, its called Pink Friday, and as you can see I strongly recommend it.

Oh yea, and shes fucking nuts too, multiple personalities, different personalities featured on different tracks lol.

Shes awsome, I have always liked her and i havent picked up the CD but i have no doubt its great, im really liking the battle between her and lil kim lmao, lil kim is hatin hard when she should be respecting Nicki's style

I think she IS shit. Gone are the days of hip hop artists talking about the human condition and spirit. I'll stick with the ones still doing their damndest, like Mos Def and Aesop Rock, if it's all the same. I've heard Roman's Revenge, and I'll admit Em sounds good on the album, but she really didn't do it for me. But, it could be worse, she could be Lil' Wayne.

lol everyone has different views and opinions I liek all types of music. as far as hip hop "drake" and "lil wayne" are two of my solid favorites. Then again this is my opnion, i always lliked lil kim and she seem to fade away, now nicki is doing her thing and shes getting up there on my list as well

I tried like hell to hate her...I really did. I like her...like drake she sounds good to my ears. Her lyrics are silly and her flows inconsistent. However, she is smart and extremely talented. Like a Drake, lil wayne and for the most part Jay-Z she gives lyrical junk food for the suburbs...the hip pop crowd and that's ok. The goal is to sell records and those with the unbelievable flows, with the exception of very few, don't sell or get the production.

I will probably pick up her album when it goes on sale. That song with Em is the shit! I don't know...I am 40 so all music is shit to me now. I grew up on P-Funk, the Ohio Players, Prince, MJ, Bowie, Run DMC, Elton John...you compare that with britney spears, 303 and Usher? Hell..these guys don't even play real instruments anymore.

As i stated i like Minaj but you got lil kim, eve , missy Elliott and im sure theres others i forgot to mention
