I often hear people complain about the Strikeforce commentary and I must admit, it is painful. I mean we all loved Mauro back in the Pride days, but it hasn't been the same since coming state side. I know it's a temporary fix but it may be a sign of things to come. Rumor has it that Josh Thomson is calling the fights this weekend.

Mauro used to drive me crazy back then, too, man. And I may take some heat for this, but I never cared for Bas either.

Bas is great for color commentary, Mauro is not bad but he is very much surpassed by Schivallo when it comes to calling the action and cliches. Every commentator has some cliches like the UFC dude and classy. Everything is classy for him lol. At least the voice is funny.
