There is a way to deal with this issue...
I train with Eddie over at HQ, he pointed this out to me about a year ago.
If your opponent lifts you up off the ground, Over Hook (or Under Hook as a secondary option) his near leg.
Ex: I'm in Mission/Crack Head Control, My Mission Control Arm is my right Arm, So my Free Arm (the left, the hand I Zombie with) I will use to Over Hook his right leg as I am lifted off the ground. This will stop him mid way and he will be forced to go back to his knees. If it happens again... repeat the process.
If this isn't working for various reasons (the opponent is too big, explosive, strong, still able to pick me up, etc.), then, again, abandon Rubber Guard and start working for a takedown, or half guard or butterfly.
Often what I like to do, is use a sweep setup off of this.... When your opponent uses that much energy to lift your weight off the ground, his balance becomes compromised. Perfect opportunity to release mission control and go straight to the double push kick sweep (While my hands are used to ankle pick his feet) It's Highly Effective.
Hope this helps.
