If you go on other bjj or mma websites you will see people bashing Eddie saying how much he sucks and isent any different from any other bjj black belt and how rolyer would submit Eddie 9 out of 10 times. So im just wondering why all the hat towards Eddie?

i know the feeling from the training aspect alot of schools turn the system away or even get upset if u pull some rubber gaurd i really dont understand why. i love my gracie jiu jitsu but eddie did tap royler and facts are facts so that speaks enough for me . its a new flavor to taste and thats what jiu jitsu to me is it is always evolving and anybody stuck on one system is just that STUCK.

He threw out the gi, beat Royler then retired from comp. and still makes a living teaching and he smokes weed. That's pretty much what it boils down to. Then there is the guys who do it because there instructors told them to or they bought the bull shit propaganda that he talks shit about the Gracies or he claims that he made up moves which is all bull shit he always credits people with moves he learned from them directly or indirectly.

If he wasn't great at what he did, he wouldn't get all this hate. Success comes with a lot of jealousy. It's part of the game, even if Eddie does give props where props are due. Welcome to the real world, where people's egos come into play =(.
