    My friend lives is Kochi, Japan teaching english and he said that the river there was a bit swollen but it wasn't anywhere near as bad as they had expected. Fingers crossed that the tsunami is the only thing that dies in the next few hours!

    I think the tsunami hits there in around 3 hours, hopefully BJ is up doing his floodwatch in Hilo!

    The earth is forever moving, techtonic plates etc. The death toll in places like Japan are primarily to do with the Population Per Capita. If the earthquake that his NZ's epicentre was in the same place as in Japan there'd be thousands dead. Im hoping its not the beginning of the end. But if it is, what control do we really have? And prayers to God wont do anything if he already has a plan.
