that shit sounds pretty dope but I don't have much knowledge on the system I train at a Pedro Sauer gym and they don't really spend any time working that part of the game. the system seems pretty tight but as far as my understanding of it is concerned I'm a class 1 retard.

but shit any advice is better than none and I'll probably youtube those terms or something.

Well in that case just learn the system and calming him down will be ALOT easier, go to a book store and eddie's boooks or subscribe to this website and start watching mts

What you mean wrestlers? I dont understand overly aggressive if they're finishing or winning. If you beat them or end up dominating then it was, and you did fine. People have different styles.

If it's just open mat and no time limit then I use basic control fundamentals to drain them out. Like if they don't posture correctly then that's my green light to hang onto their head as they'll drain their core just trying to sit up. If their hand positioning in a postured base is too loose, I'll keep propping myself up forcing them to try and push me back down with their arms (since they are not stiff arming me back correctly).

Just mentally critique their game for errors and then exploit those spots.

naw I don't mean wrestlers at all. I love rolling with wrestlers they know the difference between technique and muscling moves through. I'm talking about the guy whos trying to kimura you when he's in your gaurd and uses his strength to muscle through to half gaurd then uses his size to grab a hold of your head and try to rape it.

I understand people have different styles. I'm asking about dealing with the style that involves getting forcibly raped.

As you get muscled you'll get tougher. Your guard will get stronger and they'll break through less. Having control of your opponent, will frustrate them to the point of pausing to think while they're tired. Plan your sweeps and reversals accordingly. Even if none of the advise in this thread helps you just keep rolling with them and you'll figure out what works for you.

Professor Sauer Black Belt, Keith Owen said it already. ‎"Practice does not make perfect; practice makes permanent. Therefor, perfect practice to make proper technique permanent" Proper Technique will overcome strength. Subscribing to MTS and getting Eddie's books is AWESOME advice (I've got both and I've benefited IMMENSELY). Also ask Professor Sauer. He doesn't wear a Black & Red belt for nothing. The man is a genius.
