How do you guys like to finish your triangles? I started going to the dominant angle and its much less often guys escape. I think it's much tighter and much harder to defend.

Similar to what the guys are doing out on the east coast except he goes all the way under the body instead of the arm or leg.

^But you're not pulling down on the head with the Gable grip, your preventing them from escaping. At least in the vid.
I use the same position with a leg instead of the entire body. Pros/cons to doing it your way?

All variations that make the guy tap are good. With the Body Lock there is no way to posture up and the perpendicular angle is so tight it cuts the blood off from the brain without pulling the head down.

I'm definitely a underhook the leg stomp and curl convert.

It doesn't make a damn where their arm is or anything else, AND you won't get Hughes/Rampage pick up slammed out of the triangle in MMA.

Underhook leg and then pull down on head and bridge. If I can sweep to mount I might.

I will have to give your version a try. I am a triangle freak, so I like to experiment with any pointers someone has, you never know if they might add a small detail that will increase your success % for that sub. I would still be worried about a possible slam. It would seem easier for them if you make that locked connection. I know in most sub tourneys they can't slam, but I prefer to cover all bases. Can a strong guy still pick you up?

If you go all the way around and grab the body, it's soooo tight and so hard to stand up. I've never seen anyone escape the triangle when the guy reached around and grabbed the body.
