ADCC North American Trials Enrico Cocco vs Dustin Akbari

This fight was not without controversy and because of that fact I have left in the original audio.

At one point early in the match, Akbari had Cocco in what appeared to be a pretty deep heel hook. Because of the angle on the heel hook, Cocco's base was a bit compromised, but nevertheless he was defending well.

Then, in an effort to escape, Cocco grabbed Akbari's foot with force and Akbari let go of the position thinking Cocco tapped. However it was clear to almost everyone that was close to the mats that Cocco did not tap and after speaking with a number of people, the ref allowed the match to continue.

Both of these guys are great competitors and this match was super exciting to watch.

Daaaaaaaaaaamn i woulda hated to be one of those officials...or one of the competitors for that matter. That situation is ALWAYS tough.
