Anderson Silva vs Jon Jones

the one thing that silva has always shown to have is the ability to end a fight within the blink of an eye in as unexpected a way as anyone else. Bones may throw unorthodox strikes.. but silva ends fights in unorthodox ways, almost pulling moves out of his ass when you think its either over or just beginning. I think Silva is a douche outside of the ring and can be at times boring depending on the fighter hes facing. And I am 100% a bones fan. Knew hed run through rua... but to say that bones would beat silva is too hard to say given the fact that at this moment silva on his feet is #1. Even if bones has the reach. Not sayin that bones would lose.. just sayin that its too tricky to just say.

Travis Lutter took Silva down. Jones will have no problem taking him down. Pounding out Silva from his guard wont be a problem for Jones. Also between now and the time the fight happens how much better will Jones be.

I don't think Anderson Silva has the balls to take on Jon Jones.

If he has to take on a super-fight he will probably rather have the much smaller GSP, on who he will have a very big size and reach advantage. Even if he loses to GSP it will probably be a decision loss, while if he fights Jon Jones there is a very big chance he will get destroyed like everybody else, and that would irreparably damage his legacy.

I think the GSP vs ANDERSON fight is to unfair, Anderson is so much bigger. I still think however GSP would pull it off. A Jon Jones vs Anderson fight would make much more sense, but like i said i really don't see Anderson accepting that fight.

Another thing i forgot to mention is that on all of Anderson fights he had the reach advantage over everybody. Jon Jones would be the first to have a longer reach. Without the reach advantage Anderson would lose an essential part of his game, one which he always relies upon. It would be very interesting to see what Anderson could do without the reach advantage.

I think he would get destroyed like everybody else.
