    Anderson Silva vs Jon Jones

As somebody mentioned in another thread, this would be the match up to see. Forget Anderson vs GSP. This has the makings of the fight of the century. So who takes it? In a head to head comparison,

    Striking.........advantage Anderson

    Takedowns....advantage Jones

    Submissions...?

    Experience.....Anderson

Btw, can anybody check their respective reaches? Both guys are pretty long.

Jones has shown ZERO weaknesses thus far. What could Anderson Silva bring to the table that the other guys haven't yet?

I pick Jones. But either way, this would be one great fight.

Another point worth noting is that Jones' ground and pound is more than scary.

I can't see Bones losing to Anderson at 205, which begs the question, how can one rank Silva > Jones in the p4p debate if, fighting at the same weight, Jones would win. I know not everyone agrees with me that bones would beat anderson, but I honestly think he'd run through him. I don't think we're gonna see Bones lose a fight unless he steps up to heavyweight. He's 23, only THREE YEARS into training, and he's already the best 205er in the world, arguably the best p4p. Welcome to the Bones era... I guarantee it'll last longer than the "Machida era" lmao.

God man, Bones really dominated Rua. I didn't expect that to be so one-sided. His freaky arm length+wrestling makes his in guard GNP so damn scary.

i was barely aware off the machida era lol
but looks like jones is gonna be the top dog of the LHW division for a long time, unless he goes up to heavyweight,
middleweight would probably be too big a cut, but if he did, he might dominate there. and im sure he could beat silva in either weight class tbh

If there's one guy Jon Jones will have trouble "running through", Anderson Silva would be him. But damn watching Bones fight makes me think anyone beating him is nearly impossible. Will we see this guy sweat?
