Heading to LA!

Hey everyone,

I am going be down in LA next week and I was wondering if HQ did drop in classes. I would love to get a chance to train with Eddie. I have been training for almost a year, and was wondering what the major difference between the Fundamental and Advance Class. Also, if anyone has any recommendations of places to stay, I am looking for something affordable ( not over $70 a night).I am looking forward to my vacation and hope to get to roll with some of you!

I am only going to be down there for a week, but I am going to try and make it for at least 3 drop ins. I also want to try and check out Burbank, how close are the schools together? I have never really been to LA and need all the tips I can get.

I booked my hotel last night. We are going to be staying down by LAX.

What are the time that I should avoid driving, I hear LA traffic is something of nightmares. Are there any back routes I can take to avoid it? How much time should I give myself to make it to the 11:30 am or the 8:30 pm class at HQ?

If you have any recommendations of places to go near HQ or Burbank during the day, that would also help a lot (I am going down there with my girlfriend and her sister).

I hope to meet some of the faces who I've got to know through MTS, I cant wait to get down there!

Is there a tram system near HQ?

I found the MTA trip planner site and it looks like there is a bus route that goes near there, but I am not sure how reliable or fast it is. Anyone from the area use the public transit?
