    Any recommendations???

So i was training yesterday and i heard a pop in my knee...(the outside part of my knee....right leg - right side of knee) It did not swell up but there was some bruising on the area.....whats weird is that i can bend it and everything and even walk normal----days later of course....but i cant jog or run.....anyhoot........IS THERE A KNEE BRACE THAT ANYONE WOULD RECOMMEND? ESPECIALLY DOING RUBBERGUARD THAT WONT BOTHER?

i second Lee there, don't fuck around with the knees, make sure it's going to heal right before throwing a brace on or going back to training.

Doctor won't be able to tell you a significant amount unless you get an mri.. but its definitely a safe bet to get it checked out if this is your first knee injury.

If you've heard a pop, chances are you've sprained a ligament in your knee. You'll need to rest for some time and rubber guard on that leg is a no-no. 2 weeks if it's not bad, 1-2 months if it's bad.

I just had this happen to me a few weeks ago.

I wore a "level 2" brace for about a week, and it was sore for about another week. It seems to be ok now, but if you have good insurance, it's always wise to err on the side of caution and get it checked out.

Check and see if you have stability problems with side to side movement...you can rip ACL or MCL and not feel it moving or bending your knee until you have some lateral pressure or movement...better to get it fixed or checked now then it be something minor that could heal on its own or with some rehab then push it to the point that you need surgery. Just My Opinion

    dang..

Thanks for the response guys.....im a save up some money then go to the doctor....i have to pay for like 20 percent of the visit.....but i think it might have been just a bad sprain.

Could it have been that i have been stretching too much and my muscles were weak?? It popped so easy and i never really had issues other than pain in my knee when I played ball at a young age.
