Hey, I'm very new and unexperienced when it comes to Jui Jitsu and I'm thinking of starting to train but I don't know what to train. BJJ or 10thplanetJJ??
The thing is that it seems like some bjj people bash Eddie and the rubberguard but I dont know why they do it. Almost every fighter in the ufc have BJJ in their arsenal, and I rarely see rubberguard being used. I know that 10thplanet is kinda new and haven't been around for so long but it seems like its really useful on the back rather then bjj. Iv'e seen countless of times when bjj blackbelts are laying on the ground and does nothing but trying not to get Gnp'ded and waiting for the round to be over. It feels like the rubberguard is a lot better for people who want to do MMA, it feels like you have more options on the ground.
Just from what I have read I think that 10thplanet without the Gi would be the best for me, it seems like a more chill jj school.
What do you guys think? What should I do?
ps: I probably have a lot of dumb things in my text but that's my assumption about the whole thing.
