    Most people seem to have trouble pulling their opponent onto them to get their single hook deeper. There's also some nuance to the body control with one hook that seems to make a person's initial live attempts fail.

    I have yet to get this live rolling, but the thing that helps me most is being able to see myself doing it from every possible angle. From back, from mount, from TSC, from a successful guard pass...etc. For me, as soon as I started practicing the twister I showed the guys I roll with that turning into me is a bad idea, plus they're all bigger and stronger. You gotta trick them.
