    Competed Purple Belt Today... Almost Landed a Big Swing Ankle Lock

    First time competing purple belt today as a blue belt with 3 years experience. Man those guys are good... I lost 2-1 on points, but the bright side is I almost landed a big swing to ankle lock.

    Also competing under 169 advanced for GQ next weekend in New Jersey so that should be quite the challenge too.

    Are you cutting a lot? I lost a few pounds to be under 175.5 this weekend so I'll only have to drop like 4 more for next weekend.

    I'm around 180 now....im lazy when it comes to weight...so I may not lose it...we will see how it goes.
