Moving hips inside of rubber guard? Any tips?

Hey guys, I'm just wondering how to move my hips inside of rubber guard to get at an angle. When I'm in chill dawg im trying to get on my right hip (rubber guard with my left leg) but to go to the invisible collar I feel like I should be on my left hip. can anyone help me out here?

You should be on your right hip if you're in chill dog or invisible collar with you left leg. I may be wrong though.

That's what I thought but honestly I don't know. It seems like it makes more sense to be on the left hip because then the right leg will be able to swing up really easy.

Nah, right hip The leg will still swing up much easier, as it has less distance to go. If you're on your left hip, you haven't got nearly as much control and you'd be doing it wrong!

Though when facing a guy with good control and I am unable to hip out the croc is a great option.

Makes sense, how do I get the left leg up really easy? Keep in mind my left leg is significantly more flexible than my right leg. can almost get my right leg behind my head, will that change everything?
