I think in this case Diaz will dominate orrrr pull the same thing he did on takanori gomi and get forced to take him down(or was diaz taken down by gomi? I forget) and pull a lightning GoGo while Daley submits and then tries to "Club Punch" Nick Diaz after the fight and get kicked out of UFC yet again lmao which I think is hilarious you didnt bring that up Mr Davis when your calling Diaz a bitch for "club punching" when Daley is the obvious bigger bitch out of the two if your looking at it by cheap shots ( not saying Diaz isnt one just that Daley is the more notorious sucker puncher I mean when that sucker punch movie came out I though it was a documentary about Paul Daley not about some stupid girls)

sure I can bring it up. Do you know that he also jumped Riggs in the hospital in the bathroom when dude had an IV in his arm. Diaz has multiple levels of bitch-dom...don't get me wrong...I think the Daley punch/push was a bitch mood but it had some logic...although flawed to it. He turned into a bitch because Kosheck talked shit leading up to the fight about how he was going to knock him out then he took him down and humped his leg all fight producing a 15 minute gay porn flick that everyone hated. After that...the fake as hell knee and kosheck talking shit while he was humping his leg...he punch/pushed him after the bell.

Nick Diaz lost a fight...went to the hospital..started talking shit at the hospital...jumped the guy that just beat him at the hospital, while the guy still had an IV in him and still got his lip split. And as usual his brother was with him. Diaz has a reputation of starting shit with his brother and his boys there. Paul Daley has one incident of him being a lil bitch because he wasn't happy with his performance. I think the odds of Diaz starting some shit is much higher than Daley's.

But I admit..they are both douche's...maybe I'm doing an exercize in futility trying to say who is more of a douche..

He has a proper boxing stance, there is more then one style of boxing and more then one stance and the one he uses is very simular to alot of succcessful boxers. He doesn't need alot of head movement because of his reach and style. The point I was making with Andre Ward is that if he takes alot of big shots from Ward in training and can survive them, then he's not going to have any trouble absorbing what Daley hits him with because I gaurentee you Wards punches are much harder.

only problem with that is ward may or may not be the one actually sparring...and they're wearing headgear. I have to imagine that he is sparring AT LEAST at the intensity of a professional boxer. Odds are he is not getting hit really hard in the head by a sparring partner. Daley will be trying to take his head off. Taking punches to the head is not an effective strategy...it has worked for Diaz up until this point. If he tries this strategy saturday night the whole 209 is going to get knocked out with Diaz.

The more I think about it....I think...just like with Gomi..he will take a big shot to the dome and then be all about getting daley on the ground. Nick will stick his chin out, he will get cracked and elbowed...he then will use his brain, get daley off of his feet and let that excellent jiu jitsu submit Daley. If Nick's chin isn't as good as everyone says...which...I mean who knows right? This fight is over in 4 minutes and sherdog will declare nick diaz as the most overrated fighter in history...it won't be fair...but you know sherdog.

lol sorry bout that james just has a really nice ring to it (Mr.Davis yup sounds cool lol) but yeah I definetly dont disagree that Nick Diaz can be a bitch or is a bitch but I still like him as a fighter sure his stand up is questionable but like other people have said striking in mma is still evolving like jiu jutsu still is (thanks to 10th planet baby!!) so I really like jiu jutsu practitioners willing to stand and trade to better evolve themself unlike anderson silva vs damien maia fight although theres no point standing up with silva but you guys know what I mean by the whole falling to your back hoping your opponent falls on top like an idiot I really respect fighters stepping out of their boundaries to better their whole MMA game I mean I dont really see Daley trying to triangle people but I do see Nick Diaz trying to KO people which IMO makes him a better fighter (even though it can cost him)

I agree 100% with the guy who rolls with that mask on. =D. Really though you have a great point in that Diaz does step out of his comfort zone and go toe to toe with people. I personally actually like the way he uses his reach in boxing, even if it looks ugly. I wish I had arm length enough to pitter pat box.

I get the well...well earned...reputation for hating on diaz. But the fight with cyborg was amazing and when he pulled that arm bar off I was like "Fuck yeah that's what I'm talking about!" He ripped it out of my mouth...I had to look and see if anyone is watching. I love watching him fight...and I agree. He who dares wins. Diaz understands that people want to see a dude put it on the line not play it safe. I respect that. This is the internet and it's easier to hate and nit pick..but the fact is that once the bell sounds we want to see a war. With these two we are going to get one.

I mean I still watch that cyborg diaz fight..they came to bang and then you see nick switch when he realized cyborg was gassed. Amazing strategy. It almost seemed like he grew. He made cyborg give up the muay thai because he was hurting him so pushed a take down and nick's guard got him.

I have been reluctant to call this fight because it can go a lot of ways. But the real possibility is that daley could floor him and run right into Nick's guard and get subbed. Nick's jiu jitsu is 100% insane...you don't see dudes move that good with gloves on.

I think Daley's got a shot inside of 2 rounds. After that nick is going to sub him.

oh and I understand that the pace punches still kind of hurt. GSP jabbed kosheck into an orbital fracture. Speaking of which...I think kosheck was saying he has nerve damage or something.

the shit talking, the assaults, the attitude in general... he'll never come back to the UFC because top-rated fighters don't want anything to do with him. It doesn't matter how good you are, if you can't act like a professional, you don't belong in the sport.
I don't know whether or not he's changed or grown-up or whatever but I think he's definitely realized that he's one shenanigan or one loss from the end of his career... because if he wasn't at the top of the division in strikeforce, no one would sign a contract to fight him except no-names (like myself... i've wanted to fight nick diaz since the first time i saw him) and Mayhem.

dude is amazing...he's like a wangsta savante....start watching at 5 minutes. Bascially, he is going all over the place and just breaks down the whole problem with the mma game right now. He's dead on. The whole 15 minute leg humps that guys like Kosheck put on absolutely puts people to sleep. You are rewarded for point sparring and not trying to end the fight at any point. Dana really needs to consider allowing soccer kicks. Bribe whoever you have to with the athletic commissions to start getting this allowed..we really do need pride rule.
