To be honest he actually did something smart. When a bully, gets bullied, he tends to break. Its risky, but Diaz pulled it off. But he really only had one other way to beat Daley IMO, and that was playing to his jab and using distance to frustrate him with a right hand. Daley isnt terrible at defending takedowns, and Diaz is bad at them.

Aoki was amazing. And I mean Fancy Pants scrambles like no one's business....Aoki controlled him and submitted him like he was an absolute rookie. Diaz...wow...Diaz...I guess them pace punches hurt like a mug. But seriously...he was crushing the body against the cage and his head movement after he got dropped was incrediblle. He was throwing rights and lefts right down the pipe and they were hurting.

I have to acknowledge that...I really think he did break daley's spirit when daley realized he wasn't going to get the stoppage when he was pounding diaz..and then diaz got up.....Nothing like crushing some dude and getting ready for the ref to come in and dude stands up....

Diaz has amazing hip movement when he strikes. You almost have to watch it in slow motion to appreciate the power he generates by flinging his fist from the hip. No wind up needed, twist and fire. This is why his strikes look slow but have the velocity of a ball and chain.

wth is this about? He's right..there fighting him like every 2 months. When your top fighter says you're fighting him too much..you're fighting him too much. You know, I'm really starting to see why he is the way he is. You can see he's upset. This guy just made you a grip of money and you f-in with him?

Me and couple others said Diaz's boxing is up to par with the best in the game and even better than some of the "elite" strikers. We made these comments over having watched almost all of Diaz's fights more than a couple times each. We have been laughed at, by people who thought Daley's left hook = amazing striking, but in the end Diaz made us proud. I was worried when he was dropped but he got up and showed why he is the champ at Strikeforce. Now I would like to see him go against UFC elite to see if he is only amazing for Strikeforce standards or also the UFC.
