Zuffa buys Strikeforce and before the ink on the contract dry's they shove the ground elbows in to the rules book of Strikeforce fights.
1- Dana White says he likes exciting fights and lay and pray is not gonna win anybody any fans. Try's to deny title shots to un-exciting fighters and publicly says how he feels bad when a fight gets stopped due to cuts.
2-Commentators always make these "ahhhh, owwww, nooo" remarks, when a fighter is cut bad and the doctor is looking to stop the fight. Most of them pray to god, out loud, that the referee or the doctor does not stop the fight, although it is for the best of the fighter.
3-More than half of the mma community does now want to accept Fedor's early defeat since, it was due to a cut. He did not really lose that fight....
4-People hate to see their favorite fighter get to a position where they have some much scar tissue on their face that they cut and can't perform to their ability for the crowd.
5- MMA is demonized as the blood sport, although majority of the technical moves does not involve spilling the blood of the opponent except elbows.
6- There are some fighters out there who are pride themselves with how they are so great at cutting the opponent.
7-Short elbows from the ground prevent a lot of the stand ups and increases the lay and pray abilities of the wrestlers which is hated by everyone except the wrestlers themselves.
Why does Zuffa rush in with the elbows, if the statements above are true?
Do they secretly like the fact that MMA is turning in to wrestlers elbowing others in the face?
