if any of you hit this, i think you can quit grappling and call it done. start something else. deep sea fishing perhaps. pole vaulting maybe... badminton. there are lots of other things that one can perfect.
If someone hits this you will see a gang of people trying it and falling and getting fell on in side control all over the place...kind of like people trying real jackass stunts at home.

I've set up standing twisters off of an arm drag.. Not the entire submission but if you can grapevine a leg in, then get a farside underhook, you can pretty much fall back into baseball bat control. Obviously I'm not saying this is practical, but if your opponent is insistent on standing, its an option. Its actually an old catch wrestling set up.. you might know it as the abdominal stretch from pro wrestling.

I've used the twister (wrestlers guillotine) like this before, back when I wrestled. I know it can work but a wrestler is more likely to allow you to take their back then a jitz guy. Having a guy on your back isn't as big of a deal in wrestling as it is in jitz, so they are more likely to give up that position.

A standing abdominal stretch is like a neutered unstable twister..

You might be able to hit it on a totally lethargic new guy.

Every pro wrestling (show wrestling) move has to be neutered to be safe... actually pulling off an abdominal stretch would be nearly impossible. I was just referring to it as the set up I've used to fall back into baseball bat control. Or if they have their hands clasped then fall back then go to truck... its not something I look for.. but if its there....
