I don't think he's a genius for talking about things like quantum theory. The guy who thought up quantum theory is a genius, not the guy that repeated what he said. Sure Joe has above average intelligence but exceptional at noticing things. That's what makes him a great comedian. The interview with Joe and Michio Kaku just cemented this theory of mine for me. Joe threw out his normal random internet findings and as soon as Michio slammed it down (nicely) Joe quickly changed subject and did so, over and over again throughout the whole interview. That said, I do appreciate how he perceives things, as I do anyone that perceives things differently, he's just not a genius IMO.

Joe has said MANY times before that he isn't smart at all. He just memorized stuff that smart people already found out. It's a great way to save time.

He never takes credit for it, in a way he's more like a messenger. A lot of people find science boring, he is one of the people who makes it interesting.

The thing about him talking about DMT in 10 videos is obvious. If you are very clued up on a subject and people are interviewing you all the time, you are bound to get asked the same questions, so why should he answer any different?

I've not seen the Michio Kaku thing, but it's ridiculous to say that Joe Rogan thinks he is the smartest guy out there, he's great at arguing, but there are people out there who are better, especially Michio Kaku, the Einstein of this era

You can take the drugs thing how you want. Personally, I love the things he says, it leads me to new discoveries and further research for myself. Maybe instead of slamming the guy because he has an opinion you disagree with, why not listen to it with an open mind and make an educated decision.

in this age we have no greats like da vinci, or einstein
I'm not sure if that's true.

There are lots of people changing the world in spectacular ways. So many people are solving human problems via their own free will. Not to mention renato laranja. This is the best time to be alive in all of history. There's plenty of genius but mountains of crap. People have never been more free. Check out www.ted.com for some good ideas that are changing the world.

You know i like joe rogan, but he can be pretty obnoxious sometimes. I've found in a lot of videos he swears and yells and speaks over the person who he's arguing with. I usually agree with what he's saying, it just takes away from the effect(for me) when he starts insulting his opponent.
