    Lung Problems?

if anyone has had any medical issues with their lungs, can someone share some tips?
Any cheeba smokers have any problems? chiche'...yes, but there HAS to be a few tokers out there that had an issue. Right?

Apparently my last stint with Malaria left me with about 35% of normal lung capacity after it attacked my respiratory system.
so, im more or less rolling with barely over 1/4 of one lung.
Talk about hypoxia training! this shit is INSANELY hard to deal with.
My doc told me to expect lung capacity issues for almost 6-8 months while trying to heal them.

All i want is to be in good enough shape for the Cruise, to not feel like a total ass. haha

I have asthma. It mostly flares up when my lungs are compromised by infection, like now. Then it lingers for months till im back to normal, which is still not that great. Vaporizing and albuterol nebulizing treatments help a lil, but I better finish before the third round.

Now im not hating on anybody but, thats why smoking anything is bad for you. Dont go out and run a marathon (speaking hypothetically) you dont want your remaining lung to collapse. Also ask your doctor if an inhaler would help you. Quit smoking, and take 2 or 3 hot showers a day, breathing in the steam, it relaxes your bronchial tubes, and helps you cough up any excess crap in your lungs, or airway. Hope this helped.
    Take care.

You should check out bas ruttens o2 trainer...he talked about it a while ago on the JRE podcast. he had asthma growing up so he spent much of his life under athsma attacks. what he discovered is that if he put his body in different positions his breathing would get better. it has been proven that this thing increases white blood cell count during physical fitness....check the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKUyR...eature=related

I've had problems with my lungs to and I've gone to the doctor for tests on my lungs and after 4 tests I usual get between 30-50% lung capacity. So my doctor prescribed my 2 inhalers and i take them like 6 times a day and so far I've bin getting better. I don't really notice it anymore

Many Athsma patients are prescribed marijuana as its a brochialator. Which is to my understanding where the concept for the vaporizor came about.

Thats what my ex uses. She has asthma and used an inhaler for years. And ever since she started using marijuana (she uses a vaporizer, not sure how important that is to asthma patients, but worth mentioning), she hasnt had to use her inhaler since.
