You can sit in your bunker for one year, not getting radiation poisoning with your thick walls, then either starve and die, or go outside and die. Sounds sweet man, I hope you dig some cool tunnels, lol.

You should educate yourself better on how fallout/radiation and the most dangerous sorts of radiation after a nuclear explosion. The first month or so is the most dangerous but alpha and beta particles break down pretty quick and dont penetrate too well. Might prevent a suicide at least.
