I wouldn't say ive plateau'd only after about 4-5 Months of training, but ive just kinda been enjoying it less and less, i just think i need to mix it up more ae
Try setting individual goals for each class you go to... I will use myself as an example. For the past month I've been getting punished by a heavyweight in my gym. Last week I said no more, and I wouldn't be satisfied until I got top position on him. Well I did just that and punished him while he was on the bottom. Maybe you can't reach your goal one day but don't get discouraged, just keep a mental checklist of everything you want to accomplish and set out to complete the checklist.
CV is like a resume' right? Yeah, being an eagle scout looks badass on a resume' too, but I just had no desire in dumping that much time into something I wasnt passionate about. I do, however, want to be a certified badass. Really bad. Whether its documented or not. And there's only one way to get that. Just do what brings you fulfillment.
Every time i roll with someone better than me, makes me want to train more. I Rolled with a brown belt without knowing it and afterwards i was thinking "Damn ,I want to be as good as that guy"!
Try adding some wrestling to your game so you can get the points for takedown and points for top position right after. By the way, wrestling is probably the hardest freaking part of MMA for me. I keep wanting to pull guard when someone gets a deep takedown attempt on me.
