You sure you know MMA? You sound like a casual fan. Bader is HUGE. Sonnen is nowhere near as big as bader. And Jones folded him easy. Sonnen would suffer the same fate, especially with his horrible submission defense. Bader didn't do a thing because Jones shut him down. Not because he chose to do nothing.

I'll agree that it's premature to start all the Spider vs Bones threads. Bones still needs time and hasn't even defended the title. But he's far from a fluke. Bones dominates people. the hype about jones is what he represents...the new generation of guys that are just all about mma that never did anything else. He not only beat rua...he destroyed him and unlock Brock Rua is a Legend so you can't say that Rua was hyped or a can or anything. I think with our current batch of LHW the only 2 that have a shot at him are machida and rampage because of rampage's power and machidas awkward stand up. Not saying they would win..saying they have the most credible threats. If rampage beats Hammil I'm sure he gets the next title shot if Rashad doesn't beat Mr. Wonderful.

I think the Jones has an advantage over Silva because silva would be the person coming up to fight him. The same holds true with gsp coming up to fight silva.

As for Rashad? LOL...not even a prayer....rashad's lack of size is really going to hurt him against Jones...training with him or not. With the bigger LHWs in the mix I just don't see him being able to compete. We're not talking about Lidell and and griffin being gate keepers anymore. I expect him to beat Mr. Wonderful but I see him having a far harder time than some people expect and he may potentially be upset.

With Rashad having a long layoff and his current style lending itself more to wrestling than striking, I can see Phil beating him in the wrestling game. Decision for Phil.

Yeah moving up means he's too small for that division. He'd have to get back on the roids to bulk up first.

only reason anderson is number 1 is because of his streak, gone up in weight and won, and because he can end fights against anybody whenever he wants, wherever he wants

that's full of shit lol Chael was landing more strikes than Anderson on the feet and once Anderson found his rhythm striking, Chael would take him down. No one is dumb enough to purposely get his ass kicked for 5 rounds. The mistake came from Chael resting in a bad position that gave Anderson the opportunity to submit him. Also, Anderson puts on his Gi a lot before or after fights.
