lol dont get me wrong here i like playing the sexbox too, but i prefer my ps3 as a console. im not missing out on many games, halo is pretty much the only game i care about thats exclusive, and i play it at my friends all the time so im not missing out. blu-ray might be getting old but its still the fact that i never have to worry about buying a BR player or even a 3D BR player if i get a 3D tv in the future. ive had my ps3 since 2005, i always play it, no problems and none of my friends ps3s have ever broken down, but so many of my friends xboxs have red ringed or the disc tray just messed up, or even the xbox scratched up their disc whilst playing. i just dont like the risk. but i agree, we should all just join together and hate on the wii and PC gamers

i don't do game console wars. i'm just loyal to PS bill gates has enough money. & PS has way more pros then cons & in 2008 xbox got hacked & was down for two weeks so anybody can get hacked. it's just PS's turn, the real assholes are the dudes who hacked it

Blu ray is yesterday's news. You can pick up a Blu ray player for $80. The truth is and will always be that Playstation does not have the games.

Doesn't have the games? What games does the XBOX 360 have that the PS3 doesn't & that you can't just get for PC? I'm just being honest. XBOX 360 games aren't exclusive & there is no reason to get the game for the broken red ring of death 360 when you can get the same games for the superior PC. PS3 on the other hand has Heavy Rain, God of War, Metal Gear Solid (Until now but all the previous games are only for PS), Killzone, Socom, Little Big Planet, Resistance, Uncharted, ect. Also in regards to XBOX 360's Final Fantasy 13, how many discs was the game put on?

I read that SONY makes like 10 million a week or something like that off the PSNetwork and that is with the PSN service being free.......Which made me go....Why the heck does Microsoft charge people for the online service if SONY can make 10M a week without charging?

I have both.. and the main thing I find PS3 has over xbox is built in wifi.. I dont know if newer xbox's have it, but its such a hassle to run a network cable across the room.. and the xbox fan is way too loud.. Plus I had to put on an added fan to keep it cool.. even louder. I like the controller for xbox (most of the time) better then the ps3.. Also my xbox scratches disks.. i guess its a known issue.. mine still hasn't rrod yet which is lucky. All of my friends have gone through several each because of that.

Now I'm just worried my credit card info was stolen with ps3's network being hacked :P

if it was Anonymous who hacked sony then i wouldnt be too worried, they only care about fucking with sony, not the gamers.
and even if your money got taken you could most likely sue sony for thousands, as i think a lot of people will do.

I've had my credit card info stolen before.. my credit card company was really good with stopping it and letting me know and I didn't have to pay for nothing. I'm not too worried.
