I Came to know about filipino ground fighting system dumog i just want to know as i am practicing 10th planet bjj from 5 years now from your books and dvds , can i beat a filipino dumog practitioner by using pure bjj as they fight with dirty tricks as biting etc etc.

and sir i m very keen to learn from you asap so can you guide me further in this and i want to spread ur bjj system in india so please guide me sir.

Like any technique someone wants to test out and bring to the martial arts table, it should be tested live, on a non-compliant opponent. The other school of thought would be "It works because my sensei told me it does." Unfortunately, the latter school of thought pervades the martial art community =(. I'm not saying Dumog doesn't work. I'm just saying I'd love to see some of it live in a combat event. I'd be happy as hell if "kick catching, into submission" could be a high percentage move.
