Hi guys. I'm 70kg and I'm trying to work my butterfly guard, and it works well against everyone except this one guy who weighs 95kg. He negates my guard by pushing his head onto my chest (preventing me from stretching him out and then sweeping him when he postures up) and bearhugs my legs so that he can roll into side control (which is like being flattened by a steam roller!). Is there an official name for this type of pass so I can look up some counters? Or should I abandon butterfly against larger opponents?
