    Agreed. It is the shiz right now, and will always have a place in MMA. Remember when everyone wanted to see the Superman Punch and how well it worked - not so much anymore. I like that fact that it takes heat off of those studying the various forms of Karate. Sure traditional Karate does not work well in MMA all by itself, but it does provide great techniques.

When an effective technique is underutilized, then people train less counters or defenses against it, therefore they work for the period of time, until everybody adds it to their game. Remember how godly jiujitsu was 15-20 years ago, and now it is less effective in fights (compared to 20 years ago) since people train submission defence as a daily part of their mma training routine.

    yea I agree. I have learned quite a few techs that dont fall into the bjj, muay thai, wrestling, boxing category that I feel would really surprise some people in an mma fight if snuck in at the right time
