A training injury has forced Cody McKenzie out of his upcoming fight at UFC 130, so Gleison Tibau has stepped in to face Bart Palaszewsi on the May 28 card.
The UFC announced the switch late Thursday night.
Gleison Tibau (22-7) comes into the fight fresh off a split decision win over Kurt Pellegrino at UFC 128 in New Jersey.
The American Top Team fighter has gone 3-1 over his last four fights with his only loss coming from current top lightweight contender Jim Miller.
Tibau steps in to the fight on just under a month’s notice to face Palaszewski in his UFC debut.
