But its a uniform for us and dawned with pride, humility, and respect. Dig?
I totally agree. We work hard for our rank. I think if you want to wear a blue, purple or even brown do it in private.

I'm thinking of getting my SSBB, I don't know if it's worth it though. Do employers really care about it if it's on the resume?

If you click on the Joe Rogan name you will see that he's a brown belt. I think that there are a few brown belts (2 or 3)on that site, but the most are black belts.

Realistically, it's probably not that useful, but anything looks good on your resume if you can talk about it. I won't pretend I know all that much about 6 sigma, but I just found the black belt thing funny.

People can where whatever they want. Weather it's a t-shirt at the mall or a rash for training It's obviously a different story if you want to compete.

Telling someone they can't where whatever color shirt they want is retarded, not only that, but it's a bad business model. Which is why no one really follows anything that any of you are saying on here. Do they do a history check on your rank before they send you a blue t-shirt? No? Oh because that would be stupid for them to not take your money. If a chick likes purple and really wants this shirt in purple, she isn't being disrespectful no matter how seriously you guys want to take yourselves. I just think it's funny someone would ask about someone being a white belt and wearing a blue t-shirt at home, as if it really matters.

Let people where what they want, it will sort itself out in competition, it's not something that needs brought up anytime someone is wearing a color that doesn't match their forum belt.

You can wear what you want. When you train hard and receive your belt its pride and honor and in our system the t shirt represents a belt. If you were training with a gi on would you wear a different belt because you like the color.

You guys actually wear the color shirt you are when you roll? What if it's dirty? lol Who cares, the mats show what belt you are regardless what color shirt/socks/shorts you have on. The system is no gi, no uniformity, some people even roll shirtless. This whole thing is crazy. The higher the belt, the less of them there are. Now no one will want to buy the 10th Planet shirts if they think someone is going to question their credentials based on the color they are wearing. You're just hurting sales now, which means less exposure for 10th Planet. Thanks.
