There is a guy in our neighborhood who put signs up all over the area with the word JuJutsu. We thought he was an idiot untill we found out that JuJutsu is actually a common way to spell the Japanese version of the art. It's on wikipedia too. Who knew....

True, but Japanese JJ and BJJ are two completely separate art forms and shouldn't be confused with one another. In other words, a Japanese JJ black belt shouldn't come on this, or any other BJJ specific forum and post as a black belt. It's deceiving.

I'll bump this thread also...and have a small question to ask in the meantime.

The rank belt under your username/avatar is for TPJJ only and not for BJJ/GJJ/MJJ?
So if you don't train at a TPJJ Moon or Hot Spot, you have to obtain rank by doing the required techniques on vid
and winning 10 subgrapp matches/belt. Is this correct?
