    ingrown

ok this is kinda gross but i need your guys's opinion
every 2 or so months i get a big bump under my armpit and its an ingrown hair im guessing, since it goes away after a while without treating it, and i get little red bumps that i can pop on my knee, im guessing those are also ingrown hairs on my knees from being on em all day and having the sweat rub into em
if you guys have any advice or any similar stories plz respond
    thx take care

It could be tinea barbae, which is the fungus that causes ringworm, only on a hairy area like your beard. If it affects hair folliciles, it causes ingrown hair like symptoms and sometimes pus forms in the pimple. Does it itch?

you can ignore it. the more you play with it the worse it gets. the way i used to treat it was to use an abrasive sponge, and with a good soap, just rub over it during a shower. this should help to sand down the skin (aka exfoliate) the skin so that the hair comes out.

one caution. whatever you use to rub it, change it frequently. bacteria easily builds on your sponge/rubbing object and will cause more problems than it's worth

also, girls with sedentary jobs often get ingrown hairs on their ass. some will go as far to use a pumice stone to sand their ass down before a date (see, bridget jones' diary or Gattaca).

sedentary jobs are jobs where people sit on their ass all day.

shaving hairs is for thai lady manboys. just avoid it altogether if you can.

i'm not a doctor, i have no idea how lymphnodes work.

if i have a bump bigger than an eraser head that does not reduce due to icing (because out here, it's likely a spider bite) then i go to a doctor. never pop anything unless told to do so by a physician. there are many things that get worse when you pop them.

So what you're saying is you find dudes who shave hawt? j/k AJ. Your comment made me LoL though.

If you are going to shave that area, use clippers to avoid razor burn and more irritation which shaving can cause. When I was on the swim team I was taught that shaving my legs and arms gave a slight reduction with the water friction when swimming so it was common practice with both the girls and guys to shave everything. Some dudes even did their brows *little to far for me.*
