    Just my luck...

You see, i was at practice at new england mma (mma) when i recived fantastic news.... Ufc fighter john "doomsday" howard is going to come to our gym to help with the kids class and than work with our fight team, "the blue devils". This means i would be training with john howard for 2 hours. Than during the last 15 minutes of practice i injured my wrist, went to the hospital and found out it was broken they put me in a sling than i went back today and they put my whole wrist/forearm in a cast. Im not going to be able to go back to training untill mid august witch also means i wont be able to train with one of my faviorite fighters next week. And to top it all off im not going to be able to go to this upcoming naga (june). Wow ths really sucks. Just thought i would share this FANTASTIC(sarcastic obviously lol) news with you guys.

Keep your head up and work on squeeze with your legs and stuff to help keep you busy. It happens.

Injuries. The bane of athletes since the time Roman wrestlers competed naked.

Dubya is right, if your upper body is limited due to that wrist injury, you can work core and lower body. Make the most of it. You'll have a functional wrist back before you know it and your lower body and core are at +10 =D.

Why exactly can you not train with a cast on? There are TONS of things you can work on with one hand/arm. Wont be doing full pad work or free rolling, but two legs and the other arm have no disabilities. laying out of the gym completely is a mistake IMO.
