The only certainty I can say about this situation is that the pastor making this prediction will continue to rake in the cash while his congregation continues to believe their pastor has some inside knowledge of the bible no one else can see. He will simply state that although he claimed he was 100% positive about May 21st 2011 @ 6:00Pm that he must of miscalculated and will go back to the drawing board to fix his math and will get back to everyone about the real end of the world. Exactly. It's happened SO many times before, you'd think people would catch on by now. Just in my lifetime I can think of several "the world is gonna end" prophecies whose prophets were "100% sure" they knew exactly when it would be. The time and date passes uneventfully and they go back to the drawing board confident that this time they'll get it right. And somebody will listen to them every time.
Every point of light in this image is a galaxy composed of billions of stars. Sometimes I just stare at this image (the Hubble Deep Field) and think about just how monumentally small we really are...
...And we really, really think we're the pinnacle of all creation?
