    Hand injury

I was rolling with a buddy of mine who doesnt know much. I showed him the basics of rolling. So what he loves to do is go 100% every single time and I tell him dude chill out your gonna hurt someone. So we were rolling he was in my guard (My guard is dangerous ) he usually goes directly to my arms and tries to get a whizzer on each of my arms to neutralize my rubberguard. Well he ended up in my guard clinching both of my arms with wizzers trying to keep from from working my high guard. I got my left arm free so he shift his weight to my right side and wrapped both hands around my right arm and had me in that damn frank mir elbow lock. While this transition was going on my right hand got tangles in his shirt and the he added more force on twisting my hand by putting torque on the mir lock. I simply pushed his head away from me and took the swim move to get out and got the tap. After words though my hand was f*cked!!! Its been about two weeks already and it still hurts!!! I play guitar and I always pick up my guitar with my hand hand to put it on (Im a southpaw) and I cant pick it up anymore. I cant hold wrist control with my right hand. I can make a fist and playing guitar is no problem. Ive rolled a few times since I just avoid trying to get wrist control. it hurts around my thumb joint and the back of my hand by my thumb joint. Any Idea what the hell is going on? Should I go see the doctor. You guys helped me out with my runners knee was hoping you could help me out with my hand

Hand is a very very complex limb consisting of ridiculous amounts of small bones and joints. You could have easily fucked something up in there. Your injury serious or not, is going to take a while to heal due to this complexity and the amount of times the hand and finger joints move daily. I have both my middle fingers messed up, one jammed in the other bent backwards at an awkward angle. Nothing broken but still taking couple months to heal and it is still painful to make a fist with both hands. If you do not have any excess swelling and bruising, then more than likely the hand will heal itself. If you need a doctor, your body will definitely tell you. Worst case scenario you could do a simple doctor's visit and if they are good they can usually determine if you broke something or not. If they send you to x-ray right away, i try to find my self another doctor, since there are so many ways of detecting a fracture by simple superficial analysis.
