I know they don't train on the ground, but even an average boxer can hit you 5 times in 3 seconds. No other martial art is as quick and effective, IMHO. The problem with boxing is that the training is brutal. It's tiring and it hurts.
he is obviously in a wingchun stance, and comes right up the tracks. guy just went down first shot.

Kata's are a great workout. Especially holding horse stance for a while. But, when styles of Karate are promoting their students based on kata's and not their fighting ability. Something is wrong if a person takes a Martial Art and isn't learning how to protect him/herself. Beware of the mystical Grandmaster, way too many frauds out there. Beware of the guy in the video.

Now that's an interesting question. However many other martial arts have "one steps" which are choreographer self defense scenarios. Most of them start with a nut kick or a foot stomp.

Agree 100% there are a lot of frauds out there, and the dude in the vid, is def one of them, He may even be a master, but no Grand master and his ego got the better of him. I also agree it's BS to promote only on the basis of Kata, and Kata's are Japanese, while forms are Chinese. Also, A grand master wouldn't even tell you he's a grand master (-Ego) He would say something like "I am only but a moth" but it's up to you to determine in your "Gut" and based on action for yourself.

Look at 2:45 how the "Master" knocks the MMA fighter back almost 3 feet but doesn't even touch him, He almost had his Qi working but I promise his ego got in the way and that's why he was owned, I love this vid btw. I saw it years ago
