I wash mine after each use. I don't use it every day though. I'll put my gi in the dryer if I need to and I don't see any problems.

I have 2 if i get in a very wet sesh i will wash right away. if not then wash once a week. i wear gold weave gi's. one fuji one subculture. I only train gi like 3-4 days a week. rest is nogi.

Sounds like u could use a preshrunk gi. Then u can toss it in the dryer without worrying about shrinkage. Vulkan is one such gi.

I got a black Vulkan and feel like a super ninja with it. Gi chokes went up by 10 skill points every time I wear it. I wash the gi often but never the white belt. It did acquire a nice shade of brown prior to my promotion. The blue belt is another story, trying to fade it a little its Soooooo dark blue. I hate rolling the smellys.

Havent trained in the GI in 3 years, but hell yeah wash it after every practice! And jump in the shower yourself after every practice! No one likes staph or ringworm.
