    Twister side control

The challenge Im facing is when Im in traditional side control on an opponents right side Ill transition to Twister Side but my opponent will Trex the far arm and Im unable to wedge my left arm inside of his. I usually just take the north-south from there and finish but im open to any ideas on how to be able to get that arm in.

your probably starting in either head and arm control or head and hip control (einsteins method). either way, youll start off with a crossface. before you try to slide that elbow into their underarm, slide your forearm over their neck first, and push off it. that will create space for the transition and probably make them open up.
