So after my Tues roll got cancelled (people travelling, out taking a break for spring/summer) I stopped by the MK Boxing (it's MMA, although the head name is Boxing) dojo in Woburn MA to get some details/info for summer memberships. Turns out the Jiu Jitsui INstructor there Miguel Rivera met Eddie 10 yrs at rio de janeiro (I think is how it's spelled) apparently Eddie way back was doing a seminar there and he got hooked on Jits there (he has No-GI tattooed on one of his shins in fact). Miguel said he loves what Eddie is doing too (I wasn't sure how he was going to react, I find it 50-50 when I talk to grappling instructors their thought on the 10th Planet system).
So, thought I'd share with everyone that A) Someone's chance meeting with Eddie had such an impact 10 yrs later, and B) It was nice to run into a fan (and not just a fan but someone who teaches). So hold on hope all of us out there (us Ronins) who are waiting for official schools to one day come to a place near you!!!!
