You don't. Let other have their opinions. If they're up for a civil conversation where you can both state your reasons as to why you feel a certain way, then have that conversation. If they just want to argue and try and bully you, then don't. Especially if they are a higher belt then you. It always cracks me up how long time brown belts like to get in arguments with me about the system, especially when I was a white belt. I was always like "what are you trying to prove, I'm a white belt!" Most of the time people just want to hear themselves talk and congratulate themselves on their perceived superiority.
Have said that, train hard, compete and win and be cool and respectful towards everybody. Actions speak louder than words, and that's the best way to represent our community.
