Congratulations to 10th Planet JJ Sylmar student, Andreu Mendoza, for dominating his beginner division @ the Hayastan Tournament in North Hollywood on 6/5/11. The rules system is very similar to NAGA, in that the first round is no points, 2nd round is points, and 3rd round is 1st takedown wins. Thx to some smooth jiu-jitsu, one round was all Andreu needed for his 3 matches, all submission wins in the first round! Kimura with 5 seconds left in the first match, Heel Hook to end the 2nd match, and a beautiful arm-bar off his back in the last match. Video later this week
