    Leo Vieria challenges Eddie

    http://tatame.com.br/2011/06/08/JJ--...o-lhe-desafiar

"Twice winners of the ADCC, Leo Vieira is well excited for the ADCC this year and promises to work in the 77kg category. Black belt remembers well when he was champion in 2003 and went on to the semifinal guard Eddie Bravo several times. Leo just does not understand this "schism" by Eddie Bravo in challenging Royler Gracie, since for him, the U.S. should challenge him, and not an athlete he has ever defeated.

"I never saw the challenge of a rematch from who was the winner. I think he should challenge me. Do not want to meddle in what is happening between Eddie Bravo and Royler, but if the challenge came from Bravo, it makes no sense. There's been some rumors that the fight does not happen, and if I am offered this fight, I really want, man, it'll be nice, "said Leo, who would love to give a chance for Bravo.

"In our fight he said that my throttle was no pressure and he believes strongly in 'rubber guard' it. He claimed that he fought with bruised ribs and why the fight has been like that and that would be a good reason for this fight happen. For me, this fight would be perfect, as he would have a chance to prove to 'rubber guard'. I have his revenge and the chance to prove that my win was a fluke or if I had any merit-crossing guard ... I believe in my game, "he said Vieira."

Who wants to see this rematch?

I agree that this would be an awesome rematch but to say that 'if the challenge from Eddie Bravo it makes no sense' tells me that he's full of shit. He want's a piece of that 50K to show up, 25K to win pie! He can't be that oblivious to Master Eddie's reasons...he's only explained himself about 1000 times regarding his reasons for requesting the rematch. I dunno, maybe Leo lives in a cave with no newspaper, no BJJ magazines, no internet, no phone & no TV?

He says it makes no sense for Eddie to want a rematch with Royler since Eddie won. Yet, he wants the rematch after he beat Eddie. Huh?

I think Eddie would have way more to gain by beating Leo Viera. By winning, it could prove that the fight with Royler wasn't a fluke by beating another world champion and getting redemption on an embarrassing loss. This could legitimize Eddie as a top level grappler in the eyes of the BJJ community and solidify his legacy as both great grappler and teacher. I think the 10PJJ revolution would explode after this but he has to win and Leo Viera is as good as they get.

man FUCK Leo Viera, nobody want to see him fight anybody. While I would love to see Eddie Vs Royler one more time, I personally wish all this crap about Eddie fighting this guy or that guy was over. I want to see Denny Prokopos Vs Ryan Hall or Sean Bollinger in Strikeforce. Its time for the new generation of 10th planet Warriors to wreck shop.

I believe Eddie said the only person he would come out of retirement for was Royler!
